PICTURE FRAMES
These past two weeks in art class, we made picture frames using recycled materials.
We used styrofoam trays from home to create the frame. The children drew a shape to create the space for the photo, such as circles, hearts and animals. Then, the frames were decorated with different recycled materials like noodles, buttons, straws and confetti. We also used paint, ribbon and sparkles. The frames turned out beautifully and are ready to hold a picture!
If you have a photo at home without a frame, you can use tape or glue to place the photo in the frame as you like.

AMERICAN APPLE PIE
In the United States, it is a tradition to eat apple pie. Erica brought her family's recipe for us to bake at school! With 3rd and 4th level, we organized a cooking workshop in the dining room with the help of Crisitina and Juan.
We needed flour, sugar, brown sugar, butter, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and of course...lots of apples! The children peeled and cut the apples and mixed the ingredients.
