Our students of 5th and 6th levels participated in a European project of exchanging Christmas cards with other schools from Scotland, England, Romania, Poland, Greece and Italy. The experience was fantastic.
Here are ours
We also created a PowerPoint presentation to share Galicia's Christmas traditions with the other cultures:

AMERICAN APPLE PIE
In the United States, it is a tradition to eat apple pie. Erica brought her family's recipe for us to bake at school! With 3rd and 4th level, we organized a cooking workshop in the dining room with the help of Crisitina and Juan.
We needed flour, sugar, brown sugar, butter, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and of course...lots of apples! The children peeled and cut the apples and mixed the ingredients.

AUTUMN ACTIVITIES
OUR SIGNS FOR THE ORCHARD
Our contribution for the school orchard were these beautiful signs with the names of the plants they grow in three languages: Galician, Spanish and English. We hope you like them!
A BUNCH OF GRAPES
These bunches of grapes were made with recycled corks and paint. We used them to decorate the main corridor to celebrate autumn.
GHOSTS
Using tissue paper and cardboard, we made ghosts for Halloween. Very scary!
MAGOSTO
We made these baskets to hold the chestnuts from Magosto with recycled bricks, paint, and tissue paper. The children learned how to braid to make the handles.
