THE ENGLISH CLUB CORNER ( 4th Level)

SECCIÓNS BILINGÜES

O noso Centro foi seleccionado para impartir dúas Seccións Bilingües na Área de Artística (Plástica) nos niveis de 3º e 4º de Primaria. Enténdese por "sección bilingüe" a organización da ensinanza dunha materia do currículo para ser impartida e cursada dun xeito bilingüe, é dicir, nunha lingua estranxeira ademais de en galego ou castelán, cunha metodoloxía CLIL/AICLE (aprendizaxe integrada de lingua e contidos). Na actualidade contribúen a afondar no coñecemento do idioma estranxeiro e son máis cada vez os Centros que as solicitan dende a súa implantación en Galicia no curso 1999/2000. Rocío Santamarina impartirá a Plástica en 4º nivel e Pilar Basanta en 3º.

WELCOME LETTER

Dear parents,

your child is learning English with HELLO JACK, through stories, songs, stimulating games and cognitive activities. I hope to give your child the opportunity to enter into the world of English in a natural way, encouraging a positive attitude and being inquisitive about the world.

The main characters in the books ( of 3, 4 and 5 years) are: Jack, a fun- loving parrot, Katie and Danny. It is also Fluffy, the cat.

We´ll provide interactive activities by using TIC in the classroom, so children´s progress will be gradual. Please, don´t expect them to be able to speak much English in early stages and it is very important to value the work they do.
